Discover Lausanne

Lausanne is a small Swiss town on Lake Leman. The city is the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (the Olympic Museum is worth a visit during your link trip).

The town extends vertically from the lake towards the heights of Lausanne. The lake offers an infinite number of walks from the Metro M2 terminus station “Ouchy”.

From the clinic, you can visit the heart of the city in just 5 minutes. The Gothic Cathedral, built between the 12th and 13th centuries, is one of the city's most visited historical landmarks. At special times of the year, it is possible to enter the cathedral by night and visit the summit, home to the watchman who shouts out the hours from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., 365 days a year. This "guardian of the city of Lausanne" has been a tradition for over 600 years. The night view from the top of the cathedral is breathtaking.

Downtown Lausanne is bustling with activity, home to bows, stores and restaurants to suit all tastes, yet remains a quiet, human-scale city that can be explored on foot.
